Alchemiist - Radiation

Radiation by Alchemiist

A quick shout for Alchemiist’s newest track, the first freeform tune for a while after all his recent Hard NRG. Radiation’s opening and the first piano melody remind me of Epyx & Cyrez, but then it goes off in a different direction - Alchemiist’s nasty synths are really sounding good these days, and that hyper melody after the (very nice) breakdown sounds a bit different to almost everything else out there at the moment…check it out at the top of this post.

Really impressed with this! Its pretty damn nice. Really liking the piano melody, and with the darker edges as well… Can’t go wrong.
I definatley see what you mean with the E&C comparison. Especially the drop at 4.15, the distortion, notation and delay on that lead synth are very E&C sounding. It also has a bit of a Twisted Freq feel to the latter part of the tune. That bizarre ‘backwards and forwards’ synth (Like in Suicide Club, dunno whether you know what i mean or not, but hey xD) that I’ve come to love as a trademark for him.

The piano and intro also reminds me of Amalgamation Station & Ephexis - With Full Spiral, if you know the tune :D

Hope that all makes sense! lol (not long woke up :/)

    -Overview- Fucking amazing!

Thanks for the kind words Chip and Plasma. I’m really glad you like the track so much.

And Plasma, I really appreciate that you put my track up here. :)

Praise where praise is due, my friend! If I’d made something of that quality and stardard, I’d want people to tell me! Maybe thats just my egotistic side, but hey!
